What Pro adds over free
Perplexity is a "cited-sources" AI search engine. Free covers basic search; Pro ($20/mo) greatly raises daily Pro searches, lets you switch advanced (flagship) models, and adds file analysis and image generation — for heavy research users.
“In one line: if you want "answers with sources", Pro lifts the search count and model ceiling.
