How to Subscribe to GPT Pro in 2026: Eligibility, Payment Routes and the Real RMB Cost

Can I still buy a new GPT Pro $200 subscription?

As checked on September 28, 2026, Pro $100 remains available; new $200 subscriptions and upgrades have been paused since September 10. Active $200 subscriptions can renew. A product listing does not establish your account’s eligibility.

How much is GPT Pro in RMB, including the real checkout costs?

USD fees identify the tier; the RMB total belongs to the actual order. The illustration below assumes CNY 7.00 per dollar. It is not a current exchange-rate quote or selling price.

The tiers mainly differ in usage allowance. The 5x and 20x labels are not intelligence or speed multipliers. Base an upgrade on limits you actually encounter. See OpenAI’s pricing documentation and the account’s model-specific allowance notices.

Count each component once. Do not add tax again when checkout already includes it. Do not invent a conversion-fee percentage when the bank has already incorporated conversion costs into its rate. An existing-plan credit must appear on the bill or be explicitly confirmed.

Can I pay directly with WeChat Pay, Alipay or UnionPay?

WeChat Pay and Alipay are not listed as direct ChatGPT web payment methods. Regional wallets have their own country and plan requirements; a supported wallet elsewhere does not make a mainland Chinese wallet eligible. See OpenAI’s payment-method documentation.

How do I upgrade on the website, and can app purchases or gift cards replace that route?

If eligible to purchase, sign in to chatgpt.com using your existing login method. Open the profile’s upgrade option or Settings → My Plan, select an available Pro tier, then review the currency, tax, amount due and next billing date before completing bank verification. If the tier is missing, investigate eligibility before paying someone who promises to force it through.

Upgrade from Free to Pro on the web. OpenAI explicitly states this in its iOS guidance. Buying Apple gift cards first therefore does not establish that a free account can purchase Pro. The official ChatGPT wallet and an Apple gift card are different balances. ChatGPT wallet payment is limited to eligible US purchases billed in USD on the web. A visible balance does not establish that it can fund your order. Check OpenAI’s currency and wallet-payment rules before purchasing.

If Plus has not expired, do I pay the difference or a new month for Pro?

An upgrade to an available plan takes effect immediately and restarts the billing cycle. Verify any credit for the previous plan at checkout; do not assume a fixed upgrade difference. Clarify how the existing Plus subscription is treated before accepting a quote. See Official plan-change rules.

After paying, how can I verify that Pro was activated on my account?

If the payment went through but access is missing, confirm the login method and account email first. Then establish whether the order is pending, failed or attached to a different account. Resolve the existing order before immediately buying the same thing again.

How do renewal, cancellation and refunds work for Pro?

Check the actual billing platform for automatic renewal. Manage web subscriptions in ChatGPT billing settings and store subscriptions in Apple or Google Play. For a Subly order, confirm the renewal arrangement and next-period quote. A first-period RMB quote is not a permanent price lock.
